Giardino Botanico di Rosolina Mare

The Coastal Botanical Garden of Veneto was created in 1991 by the Regional Forest Service for the Provinces of Padua and Rovigo with the aim of protecting and conserving a natural and unique environment of enormous scientific interest.
Located at the southern end of the Caleri peninsula, which separates the sea from the lagoon, the Garden covers an area of 44 hectares and is characterized by the presence of a remarkable variety of habitats, from the lagoon to the dunes to the beach.

The flora is very rich in species, as these environments are not very disturbed and are frequented by numerous animals.

The visit of the Botanical Garden can be carried out by following three different paths that lead to the different environments that compose it: a short one, which particularly affects the pine forest, an intermediate one, which crosses the dunes and reaches the beach and a longer one, which it also includes the wetland.
